How Our Birds Are Raised
Our birds are pasture raised whenever possible. Our turkeys and meat chickens are out in the fields as soon as it is safe to bring them out of the brooder. They are moved at least daily around the pasture in floorless pens. This allows them access to fresh air, green grass and various insects while protecting them from predation. In addition to the pasture, they are fed a non-medicated feed. They are given pro-biotics, electrolytes, organic sea kelp, and a vitamin supplement to support healthy growth. At no time are they given any anti-biotics or medication.
The above is true of my egg flock, except that they are fed an organic ration.
